The Moped and the Ray of Hope Ride

Just thought I would put a pic of the bike I will be using.
It's the Derbi FDX Cinquenta (50cc) that I used on the Ray of Hope Appeal 18 months ago.
It is extremely uncomfortable on the backside and can usually only manage an hour at a time before needing a coffee or cigarette break.


That was how it looked in Valencia the night I collected it.


Although slow and lacking in power it did manage to climb the Puerte de Guaderrama North West of Madrid which is about 1,700 m above sea level. That climb took forever and only achieved by staying in first gear the whole way.
